“It’s a very frustrating end to the weekend after we fought so hard in the opening two heats, to put us sixth. The fuel tank was ripped off over a jump, which has never happened before and although the team worked hard to try and repair the damage in between the heats, there just wasn’t time.
“We’ve been here before, we’ve had some bad luck in other races, but to be running so high in front of my home supporters is particularly disappointing.”
É, Jacques não tem tido sorte. Sempre acontece algo que acaba por atrapalhar o seu desenvolvimento, desta vez problemas com a tampa do tanque de combustível. Uma pena, afinal, era no Canadá e ele ficou de fora.
A vitória do evento que foi o primeiro realizado fora da Europa no Mundial de RallyCross foi vencido pelo querido Petter Solberg.
