Vai ser disputado, mas vai valer a pena
It's a pity what happened today as I
lost a lot of points in the Championship. We are always far for 100%
reliability but unfortunately that didn't work out for me today. I had a
small issue in the installation lap but the car felt great in the
beginning. By lap 20, though, the gearbox started to become a serious
problem, and from then it got worse. I tried to get it into some safety
settings, Lewis let through and just keep going until the end of the
race. But there nothing what we could do so I had to stop the car. All I
can do is accept that these things happen and work with the team to
went find out what wrong. It's a shame for the race in a way, as it
could have been a great battle against Lewis, but congratulations to him
for the win. Now we are heading to Germany with the quickest car and
I'm looking forward to a home Grand Prix for both Mercedes-Benz and
myself.
That was very bad. I've lost many championship points due to the failure. Our goal is always a rock-solid reliability, but unfortunately that did not today with me. I had a little problem on the warm-up lap, but the car felt great from the start. From round 20, I had serious transmission problems that were unfortunately getting worse. I had over Lewis and tried to activate the security settings to save me somehow to the finish. Unfortunately we could do nothing, and I had to turn the car off. I have to accept that something can happen. Now we are working together to find out what went wrong. It is however a shame, because the race could have been a great fight between Lewis and me. Congratulations to him for the victory. Now, it goes on to Germany. We have the fastest car and I look forward to home race from Mercedes-Benz and me.
Não foi nada bom perder 30 pontos de vantagem, mas também não é o final do mundo. Nico já mostrou que tem capacidade e talento para disputar mano a mano com Hamilton esse campeonato e assim vai ser. Não, não vai ser facil e nem com x provas de vantagem esse ano. Vai ser ponto a ponto para ambos os lados. Que campeonato, amigos. Que campeonato.
