A friend of Santa’s comes down from the North
Maranello, 17 December –What comes after Father Christmas? After 25 December the next festivity on the calendar is the start of the new year, but in Maranello, everything happens early, because if there’s one thing that can’t be lost, it’s time. That’s how after last weekend, when all the drivers who fly the Prancing Horse flag on race tracks around the world, be they the Formula 1 drivers with the Scuderia, the youngsters from the Ferrari Driver Academy or those who have taken the 458 GT to victory all over the place, transformed themselves into Father Christmas, today, bringing an early taste of the new year, was someone who shares his nationality with the best loved Father Christmas by kids of all nationalities, given that according to legend, he operates out of a base right in the north of Finland.
Today in Maranello, that other resident of Finland, Kimi Raikkonen was on hand to meet Stefano Domenicali and the senior engineers from the Scuderia. It was an opportunity to go over the current state of play on the design of the 2014 car, as well as a chance for Kimi to meet up with many old friends who, in a few weeks time will once again be his team These include Antonio Spagnolo, who next season will the Finnish driver’s race engineer.

Preciso olhar muito para esta foto para acreditar no que vejo. Porque eu simplesmente não consigo acreditar ainda que a prova seja irrefutável. Entendo a escolha do Iceman, mas não aceito. Nunca aceitarei.
Vejo alguns rostos familiares, alguns que durante anos vi ao vivo em Interlagos, inclusive, mas nada disto me traz a sensação de estar em casa, como eles disseram no twitter. Este lugar não é a casa dele. Pelo menos não para mim.
Vou precisar de muito mais tempo do que eu pensava para me adaptar a esta realidade que fará parte da minha vida de 2014 em diante. Fora que de dirigente do alto escalão da equipe tem quem na foto mesmo? Ninguém... pois é!
E como já havia postado abaixo, o engenheiro de Kimi será Antonio Spagnolo.

Antes do meu comentário, quero desejar a todas vcs do Octetort boas festa e que em 2014 seja um ano que os mais belos sentimentos acompanhem vcs. O Octetort é maravilhoso, aliás é viciante, eu já virei uma dependente... rsrsrs adoro tudo aqui!!!
Quanto a nosso Kimi... modesta eu...rsrss. Ele fez a escolha e agora vamos seguir em frente, o que me chamou atenção na fotos foi o sorriso de todos!!!

Sobre Kimi e Ferrari...infelizmente minha mágoa é muito grande para dar lugar à esperança ou bons sentimentos. Mas enfim... esta sou eu... e a maioria está feliz! Assim como ele parece, junto com a galera da foto, então...que seja o que tiver que ser.
Carlos, ele era da equipe de Kimi antes, que depois foi para Fernando. Não sei o que ele está fazendo ali. Talvez, alguns dos antigos mecânicos de Kimi voltarão com ele. Outro que também é antigo e está na foto é o careca, baixinho, na outra extremidade da foto, atrás do moço de bigode, este sei o nome, é Marciale Massimmiliano.
