If you get an opportunity for a private interview with Kimi Räikkönen, then it's best to ask only about this day. Not about yesterday, not about tomorrow.

Since we are in Germany I couldn't stop myself from asking Kimi about the curse, which has changed podium celebrations into an endless list of retirements.

Räikkönen changed the subject by saying that those results won't change in any way by remembering them and he stopped the speculations about something better being on the way by saying he is not a fortune-teller.

Although Kimi is nowadays more relaxed in interviews the Thursdays in every Grand Prix -weekend are still quite some tar-drinking. That's when the ifs and buts and speculations are most hectic and Kimi refuses to sit on that bandwagon.

Räikkönen is very relentless to speculate beforehand how the car, that has worked well everywhere, will act on this new track until he has first drove the Friday practice sessions.

It's believable that Räikkönen has his career's best chances for the best result in Germany GP with Lotus. At the moment the best result is 3rd with McLaren in 2006.

The Finn takes no stress - or 'ressiä' (slang) as Kimi himself expresses it - over the racing. After he won the WDC he has only enjoyed to the fullest when things go well and quietly swallowed the disappointment when things haven't gone that well.

Because he drives in the WC-serie Kimi also drives for the title. Although he doesn't whisper one word about it, I know that he is calculating the situation. At this point the most important for Kimi is to offer him a chance to fight for victories - and hence also for the championship.

And he offers that chance only by putting everything out there each time - without remembering the past!

Está aí um dos poucos colegas de profissão que eu leio com todo o prazer do mundo. Heikki e sua forma toda perculiar de enxergar e "traduzir" o jeito Kimi de ser e pensar para a gente, que não pode ver o que Kulta vê.

Acho que agora que ando enlouquecendo com as malditas especulações, ter Kulta de volta vai me deixar pelo menos mais calma. rsrsrs

Mas quero destacar uma frase do texto acima: "O finlandês não se estressa demais conforme Kimi mesmo diz, com relação às corridas. Depois que ele venceu o Mundial de Pilotos ele tem curtido ao máximo quando as coisas vão bem e engolido silenciosamente a decepção quando as coisas não vão tão bem".

A parte da aceitação silenciosa da decepção me marcou, porque muitos de nós faz isto. Só que acrescento uma coisa, quando a decepção vem para Kimi, ele não culpa e nem aponta dedos para ninguém.
