There was lightning in Budapest on Sunday morning. A moment later there was thunder in Hungaroring's stuffy and muggy media-center when The Times had put out a rumor about Kimi's possible return to Ferrari next year. 

Italy's very own Ferrari-press had open mouths for a while, since they know that the team just let the option for Massa's contract expire: they would have a vacant place for a top driver... 

But we have the dog days going on and this completely illogical rumor is filed in the dog day -stories. Räikkönen's and Luca di Montezemolo's chemistry just simply doesn't meet. It would be a different thing if Jean Todt would be steering the Maranello-crew. 

Räikkönen has a very warm relationship with Todt and I have heard from FIA-representatives, that whenever those men meet each other they are both extraordinarily chatty. 

La Gazzetta dello Sport asked both Räikkönen and Stefano Domenicali about these rumors. Räikkönen replied in an Alonso-like political way, saying that his relations with Ferrari are in order but that he is completely satisfied with his current team. 

Domenicali buried at once speculations related to both Räikkönen and Jenson Button by stating that according to his knowledge both already have a contract with their team for next season. 

And why shouldn't Räikkönen continue in Lotus! The man is satisfied there and he is battling for the WDC just like Alonso is. While the first half season brought 98 points the other half started right away with 18 points. With this pace Kimi will grab over 200 points this season. 

The next attempt to win will then be after five weeks in Räikkönen's kingdom Spa.

Antes de qualquer comentário, explico que Dog days significa Julho (explicação feita Nicole que traduz os textos do finlandês para a gente). Agora vamos aos meus comentários... Como se eu já não tivesse falado demais hoje!!!! rsrsrs...

Traduzi esta parte do texto de Kulta (alguém que segue Kimi de perto e o conhece como poucos): "Mas nós estamos vivendo os dias de julho e este rumor completamente sem lógica preencheu as histórias de julho. A química entre Räikkönen e Montezemolo simplesmente não existe. Seria uma coisa completamente diferente se Jean Todt estivesse à frente da equipe de Maranello".

Preciso dizer mais alguma coisa?! Claro que não né?! Acho que minha opinião sobre este assunto ficou bem clara nos posts que fiz pela manhã, aqui e aqui.

E Kulta só confirmou o que disse amis cedo.Ainda bem porque assim vejo que não estou tão doida assim. rsrsrs
