Não consegui levantar para ver a primeira parte da manhã do rali da França, daqui a pouco estou correndo para o trabalho, mas antes, deixo o resuminho básico do que aconteceu com Kimi nesta primeira parte do evento francês. Em uma única palavra: problemas. Nas duas primeiras especiais do dia, SS1 e SS2, Kimi ficou em 9º e 8º lugares. Na primeira, inclusive, ele acabou passeando por um buraquinho (bondade minha é claro...) e perdeu tempo, como o próprio piloto explicou: "A especial foi ok. Petter and Chris have just completed Rally France Shakedown. They did six runs of the 2.2kms stage and had their fastest time on their third run through. Sebastien Loeb set the fastest time on Shakedown while his Citroën team-mate Sebastien Ogier and Mini’s Dani Sordo shared the same next fastest time. Petter and Chris were fifth fastest through the shakedown stage. - Just finished 6 runs on the shakedown stage, says Petter. – Everything worked perfectly with the car from the start. Esta coluna e este rali não poderiam ter chegado em melhor hora. Não suporto mais assunto Williams e F1. E o mais bacana de tudo é ver que o Iceman está com boas vibrações para o evento francês. Pelo texto dele a gente sente que ele está com pensamentos positivos sobre a etapa galesa. E vou seguir o mesmo caminho dele. Que seja um bom rali no asfalto para ele e Kaj. Não acredito e um dos motivos para eu não acreditar foi citado por Allen, no final do vídeo. Kimi esteve pertinho mesmo de assinar com a McLaren no final de 2009, depois de ser dispensado da Ferrari, só que a equipe inglesa não quis, preferiu Jenson. Eu me lembro até hoje da esperança, da quase certeza que eu tinha desta renovação, de como estava feliz com a possibilidade ver Kimi novamente em Woking, mesmo que fosse como companheiro de Hamilton, mas no final, aconteceu o que aconteceu.
