Kimi will soon return to work

Kimi Raikkonen will return this month behind the wheel of a rally car.

Rally star Kimi Raikkonen had in recent weeks of mourning.

His father Matti Raikkonen suddenly passed away just before Christmas, with 56 years old.

This tragic loss temporarily put on ice Kimi's career and his further negotiations.

Kimi's manager Riku Kuvaja reinforce that Kimi will return back to his jobs and daily routines as soon as the tests begin with his co-driver Kaj Lindström.

- It is true. He will start testing in January or shortly - Kuvaja says.

Long mourning

Yet, it is clear that the last few weeks in Kimi's life has been hard.

Kimi was originally intended to spend the Christmas holiday in Finland with the traditional family and wife Jenni Dahlman-Räikkönen. Sad news, however, changed everything, and Kuvaja signaled publicly that Kimi's main task was now to be with his mother Paula' and his brother Rami.

The family has played a big role in Kimi's success story. Both parents strongly supported the son's career from the beginning, and toured with the World Cup.

Kimi Raikkonen's relatives have not commented anything to the public on Matti's death. Commented on Kimi's business in reflection, but otherwise the family is still mourning peace.

World Rally Championship series begins on 10 to 13 of February with the Swedish Rally, where Raikkonen will drive.
