What do fashion and Formula One have in common? Elegance and excellence. If designers in a wind tunnel and designers in a fashion house don’t have quite the same objectives, they share some similarities when it comes to producing their ‘masterpiece’ and using the best materials available to them.
This year marks the eighth time that established labels and upcoming designers have attended the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin to present their collections with over 40 designers showcasing their talents. Mercedes-Benz is currently involved in fashion events in around 30 countries on all five continents.
Nico attended the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin today for the first time. After arriving at the wheel of the new Mercedes-Benz CLS and walking across the red carpet in front of the assembled press and photographers, Nico joined a press talk with supermodel Karolina Kurkova in the Mercedes-Benz Lounge. After attending Dawid Tomaszewski’s fashion show, Nico met some of the designers backstage for a quick chat, before fitting in a visit to the Rena Lange’s fashion show between his media interviews.
Nico was very happy with his day: "it was great to attend Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin today and get an inside look at the fashion scene. It's a completely different world! It was very interesting to see what a top model like Karolina Kurkova has to do in order to be at the top of her game. Along with a strong personality, you also need to be great at playing with the cameras."

Nico avisa que não vai mais participar do half-ironman na África do Sul, no próximo domingo. Ele teve um probleminha no joelho e não vai poder se exercitar tanto quanto necessitaria na prova de triatlon.
