Kimi Raikkonen has slid off the road and looks set to retire from the second day of Rally de France on the leg's second stage.
Raikkonen had been in seventh place before the Red Bull-backed Citroen C4 WRC went off.
The Finn had admitted he had found the opening day of the event tough in the treacherously slippery conditions. He then suffered a hydraulic problem towards the end of the long stage yesterday.
Despite those problems, Citroen Junior team manager Benoit Nogier had been encouraged by his performance in the changeable conditions.
From early communication between the car and the team, it sounds as though the former Formula 1 world champion will return under superally for the final day.
